Claude Motion & code motion skills
Two things share this name. Claude Motion is Anthropic's animation-as-code artifact. claude-motion is an open skill that teaches an agent motion taste and has it review its own frames. This hub covers both, plus open alternatives such as OpenDesign Motion, so you can pick the route that fits your plan and licence.

Anthropic's Claude Motion is still a Team and Enterprise beta. Two days after 花叔 open-sourced his own take, it had more than 1,100 stars: a skill that pitches three directions, builds the film as one HTML page, writes a score that real sampled instruments play, and opens an editor where a click on the frame becomes a precise fix.

Two 25-minute episodes in two days, every frame built from code with no AI-generated video. Episode 1 was about $370 of tokens. Episode 2, with a 'director' that watches its own renders, was about $1,670.

Agents can now render a whole launch film but can't hear it. earshot is a CPU-only CLI, Python API and MCP server that turns sound into evidence: what a file sounds like, where the hits land against the cuts, and a scorecard with timestamped fixes.

Anthropic's new Motion artifact writes animation as code, so you can fix one word or one sun without regenerating. It's Team and Enterprise only for now, but Claude Code plus Remotion gets you most of the way.
