Kling 4.0 Flash is open to everyone, including API, MCP and Adobe plugins
Kling announced on Nov 4 that Kling 4.0 Flash, the faster tier of its 4.0 video model, is now available to every user on the Kling website and through the API. It can also be reached through MCP, a CLI and plugins for Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
What's new. Per Kling, this moves Flash from limited access to general availability on both the web app and the API. The same post points to MCP, CLI and 'AI plugin' access, so agent workflows can call it directly. The Adobe plugins let you generate shots inside Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
What we don't know yet. The announcement doesn't list Flash prices or limits next to full Kling 4.0. Check the API pricing page before you switch batch jobs over.
Our take: a cheaper, faster tier that agents can reach through MCP is the one to use for drafts and previs, with full 4.0 kept for hero shots. Our video model picker already lists Kling 4.0 / 4.0 Flash.
