What Sherpa is: Pocket FM's free AI fiction-writing tool, launched Sep 19 2026. According to Pocket FM, it questions a one- or two-sentence premise, builds the world and characters, breaks the story into arcs, episodes and scenes, drafts scene by scene while you steer, scores pacing and engagement, and can narrate the result.
OUR RECONSTRUCTION (unconfirmed). Step 1: in Sherpa, give it the premise and ask for one short episode of about five tense scenes. Step 2: have an LLM turn each beat into a shot row: size, subject, action, camera move, light, 4–10 seconds, and the voice-over line. Lock a character sheet and a style bible. Step 3: generate one start frame per shot with an image model and reuse character references. That matches the creator's own advice to spend half your time on the starting frame. Step 4: animate each frame in Seedance 2.5 using image-to-video, two to four takes per shot, and keep the best. Step 5: cut in an editor or with an agent skill such as video-use or Remotion, then add voice-over, score, sound effects and titles.
An example shot prompt in this style (ours, untested): 'Slow dolly forward down a dark data-center aisle, blue LED server racks pulsing in rhythm, haze, anamorphic 35mm, teal-and-amber grade, 6s.' Short, physical prompts that build on a strong start frame usually beat long, abstract ones.
